The Hickman County Citizen of the Year Award is made annually to an individual or individuals that exemplifies outstanding participation and commitment to the community during the previous year.  It is presented at the Chamber's Annual Dinner meeting held in July of each year.

This annual award, named in honor of William E. & Mable McDonald, recognizes a person, family, business, or organization for their prolonged commitment to the betterment of the community.  It is also presented at the Chamber's Annual Dinner Meeting held in July.

The Hickman County Boss of the Year Award is presented to an individual(s) whose leadership ability, sense of caring, and commitment to others are recognized by their employees.  This prestigious distinction is made annually at the Chamber's Christmas Banquet.

The Community Spirit Award is presented to an individual whose efforts to improve the quality of life in Hickman County supercede the expectations of others and whose commitment makes an everlasting difference in our community.  The award is made on an irregular basis as dictated as those individuals step forward.

The Edwin Hickman Humanitarian Award is presented to an individual whose efforts to improve the quality of life in Hickman County span the better part of a lifetime.  Like the Community Spirit Award, this honor is bestowed on an irregular basis and in normally presented at the Chamber's Annual meeting in July of each year.
